Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Validation Engineer.**What you'll do**:**Job summary**Manage, develop, implement, monitor, maintain the quality strategy of new products and its validations according with to ISO, Eaton Quality System (EQMS) and Prolaunch, provide guidance and support to capacity expansion team for definition of critical characteristic and validation since first stages of new product development (pre-launch).Ensure a Design Quality and process quality are delivered to the plants.**Job responsibilities**1. Develop, review, manage, approve, control, and distribute the quality documentation of new Validations. And ensure that are communicated to all stakeholders.2.Responsible for the quality activities on new programs throuh the uses of Pro-launch. Works closely with the project team and WPA to establish targets/requirements for project success, design/engineering score card3.Participates on Supplier Assessment related to validations and handles supplier quality topics with suppliers,4.Develops plans and strategy for controling the scrap of validations and ensure that is reported correctly5.Typically hands off quality responsibilities to plant quality at Gate 4, but also has the skills to cover quality requirements during Stage 56.Ensure that non-conforming products do not go to the next stage since raw material until Finish Good7. Works with Engineering NPD and manage Quality topics of various products at the same time8. Support SQE by release together PPAP (Evaluation of dimensional and test report, Control Plan, MSA, PFMEA, APQP)9. Lead production, Engineering, Logistic, manufacturing, sourcing, and materials areas with the objective of solve validation quality issues10. Function as overall program interface with internal and external customers, and as main contact person cross-divisional and globally for quality11. Provide quality updates including progress and problem/ high risk areas and updates to all key stakeholders12.Provide the strategy for ""Defect-free launch strategy"" identifying defects during the product´s design and development process, providing a method to assess and report the products defect status during development starting in Gate 113. Provide pre-launch control plan, summary description of the systems used for minimizing process and product variation during pre-production and trial runs14. Create a systematic ""Error Proofing approach"" for anticipating and detecting potential defects and preventing through devices that prevent defective15. Support engineering to define ""Design scorecard"" that is the tool for predict the variability and performance level of the CTQ´s based on Quality function deployment16. Support Capacity Expansion team evaluating the system test plan that includes a definition of all the verification/validation testing that is to occur (Systems development, Systems Integration/Field and System Certification) and certify that a system meets its performance and quality assurance tests or qualification requirements stipulated in regulations**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or similar- 2-3 years as Quality Engineer and /validations (High recomended)- Experience in the field of Electrical Utilities or electrical component manufacturing, Knowledge of various Manufacturing Processes (electronics, metal stamping & forming, plastics & rubber molding, machining, etc.), Experience working with and auditing suppliers, Experience with Quality Systems, such as APQP, PPAP and ISO 9001, Prolaunch.- BOC, Passion, Accountability, Efficiency, Get Results #LI-MB2We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
