.Job DescriptionS&S Value Chain Business Partner (VCBP) Job Description/Suitability ModelThe S&S Value Chain Business Partner is member of the S&S Center of Excellence (COE) and is responsible for developing and implementing global value chain strategies for supported business units. This includes analyzing, planning, overseeing and leading both regional and global projects from ideation through to completion across ISC functions to achieve the desired functional goals and business outcomes. This value chain leadership role requires building relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often while managing several projects and processes simultaneously. The S&S Value Chain Business Partner leads, influences, and coordinate peers, stakeholders, and team members in pursuit of executing the value chain strategy and delivering results.**Responsibilities**:- Determine the global value chain strategy to achieve desired business outcomes and functional objectives through partnering across all ISC functions (Materials, SSO, Operations, Logistics, Customer Care) and business units. Provides direction and insights to stakeholders and ISC leadership on the execution of value chain strategy in order to achieve optimal outcomes across all stakeholders.- Create and maintain pipeline of productivity and improvement projects for the value chain in support TCO reduction, TOCT improvement, margin improvement, increased competitiveness, and risk mitigation. Push projects and potential opportunities to the proper ISC teams for execution.- Partner with BU Engineering and global ISC resources to drive design for supply chain decisions.- Identify resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner, including people, capital, and technology.- Develop and manage a detailed project schedules and work plan- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress against goals- Develop, maintain, communicate, train, and audit standard work across the value chain as required- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution- Monitor project progress and adjust as needed- Measure process performance to identify areas for improvement- Designing risk mitigation plans for specific product lines- Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach, building into standard work as necessarySKEE- 7-10 Years of Supply Chain Experience (Materials, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics), with experience in leading diverse projects and teams through influence. APICS certification preferred.English Advanced- Understands the business planning cycle and can project the impact of supply chain performance on business outcomes. Demonstrates familiarity with strategic planning and business performance reviews and can support strategic planning through data and market analysis
