Manage the operations and resources of the productive areas to comply with production plans within established standards of safety, quality and productivity.
- Promote a safety work environment.
- Ensure quality controls and procedures are followed to meet customer specifications and demand
- Schedule the activities according to the production plan provided by Planning, in order to optimize deliveries of finished products on time.
- Manage reports of production time, effective working hours, permits and absenteeism, which allow measuring the reality of man-hour performance.
- Drive root cause analysis for problem solving.
- Ensure closure of corrective actions and demonstrate effectiveness with objective evidence.
- Generate, review and approve, as appropriate, procedures applicable to operations
- Supervise that the machinery is in optimal operating conditions.
- Coordinate the equipment preventive maintenance program with planning and maintenance
- Perform Performance evaluation to her/his direct reports,
- Promote Training to cover soft and technical skill, and any courses necessary to achieve the expected levels of safety, quality and productivity.
- Responsible for participating in strategic planning and completing the objectives.
- Participate in budget planning and manage his/her budget
- Ensure being an ambassador of GKN Values.
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace, or related engineering career.
- 10yrs of experience in a Supervisor role
- 5yrs of experience in a Leadership role
- Fluent English
- AS9100 Standard knowledge
- Background on Lean tools
- Analytic
- Results oriented
- English language fluent conversational
