Implement project plans and schedules, ensure product costs are understood across the value stream and are achieved.
Implement process improvements through the development and execution of a comprehensive improvement plan.
Lead Kaizen events and teams to make the company more competitive and more profitable.
Responsible for all cost, schedule, and quality issues related to the complete value stream, inclusive of material, ensuring delivered products meet specified standards.Responsibilities:Establish the visual factory and direct, plan, and organize workloads by estimating, scheduling, distributing, and controlling work assignments to provide for a smooth flow of both priority and routine tasks to achieve economical and efficient utilization of personnel and facilities.Maintain product flow and demand pull.Ensure key business metrics are achieved within the factory and drive corrective action when product costs are above targets.Identify and resolve performance problems within the value stream.Promote a strong sense of teamwork among personnel throughout and across the value stream.Provides leadership consistent with the Mission and Guiding Principles.Serve as the focal point to communicate and resolve issues within their value stream and between other factories.Coordinate with internal customers as necessary to ensure commitments are achieved.Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.Assess the effectiveness of implemented lean improvements and follow up to identify new areas for continuous improvement.Identify errors and initiate corrective action while monitoring the quality data to ensure the effectiveness of the corrective action.Support corrective action reviews and participate in identifying root causes and corrective actions within the value stream.Performs other related duties as required.REQUIREMENTS:Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations required.
MBA preferred.Eight years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with five (5) or more years of that time spent in supervisory roles.Must have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple and diverse work assignments with minimal direction and supervision.Must have good computer skills using Microsoft applications or equivalent
