**VAVE Packaging Leader**:**We engineer and manufacture a full range of power and signal distribution systems, including the high-speed data and high-power electrical systems needed to build feature-rich, highly automated, electric vehicles.**:**Position Summary**:**Your Role**:- **Meet annual savings target.**:- **Collaborate with suppliers to design and develop innovative packaging solutions to reduce cost, meet product protection and sustainability.**:- **Coordinate packaging testing and validation to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.**:- **Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement packaging or VAVE recommendations focused on cost reduction.**:- **Develop and maintain packaging specifications, drawings, and documentation.**:- **Lead VAVE workshops and teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.**:- **Develop and maintain documentation, including project reports, proposals, and presentations.**:- **Identify and implement best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.**:**Your Background**:**- **Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field**:- **Good English skills (written and oral)**:- **Computer skills (MS Office)**:- **3+ years of experience in VAVE, packaging engineering, or related field**:- **Strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and testing methods**:- **Strong understanding of VAVE methodologies and tools**:- **Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills**:- **Experience with packaging, product design, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and cost reduction initiatives.**:- **Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and teams.**:**Why join us?**:- **You can grow at Aptiv. **Aptiv provides an inclusive work environment where everyone can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or beliefs.**:- **You can have an impact **.
