**Vehicle/Feature Software PLM Implementation Engineer**:
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter PLM suite of tools, with special focus on (1) Integration with Ford's Systems Engineering disciplines, (2) decommissioning of legacy processes and tools and (3) supporting Global deployment.
- Special focus or familiarity with processes for managing electrical software/hardware management using in-house tool, Vehicle Software Electrical Management (VSEM).
- Coordinate the training for VSEM by delivering self-paced Corporate Training modules to work streams prioritized by your management. Training to be delivered as task based, process based and role based per definition of workstream business process.
- Lead and/or facilitate quarterly end-to-end release of VSEM for multiple workstreams. Responsibilities include working with IT partners and software vendors, scoping planned functionality, planning and executing testing, training end users during and after releases.
- Train new hires on SE methodology, processes, tools and Agile methodology.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Master's degree in Engineering or Management preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of experience in project management or leading a team in the development of software or electrical systems
**Other Qualifications**
- Ideally has prior experience of VSEM, but must have prior Teamcenter experience
- Effective communication: Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills are critical for this position.
- Project management skills, well organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Interpersonal skills (Networking, Negotiation and Tolerance). Required to work with cross functional, multiregional teams that may have different priorities.
- Energetic, passionate, problem solver with a can-do attitude. Willing to take the lead, even when there's no formal leadership role. Comfortable with high visibility from higher management.
- Ability to manage urgent situations and follow priorities.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing complex, collaborative feature/software development and/or electronic systems integration projects.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and the Ford product development process (GPDS).
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 standard to support the management of Functional Safety work products at Ford.
