validation team. Your role as a member of a cross-functional vehicle integration team will be to lead the
passion for system engineering and problem solving with strong communication and leadership
Skills.
**EE**:
In-vehicle validation of areas including electrified powertrain, infotainment, connectivity,
autonomous driving, body electronics, and vehicle securement
Lead development activities involving the targets and execution of customer functional
objectives
Lead validation /development activities involving the DVP&R, development trips, and
manufacturing facilities
Document emerging issues, aid in root cause, and lead the design and releasing team in
issue closure
Reporting findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Benchmarking of competitive vehicles
Maintain lessons learned and actively participate in cross vehicle Tech Clubs
**Body/Interior**:
In-vehicle validation of areas including environmental intrusion, exterior lighting,
wipe/wash systems, closures, and vehicle recovery systems, HVAC, ingress/egress, cabin storage, seat comfort, vehicle restraints and interior fit/finish
Lead development activities involving the targets and execution of customer functional
objectives
Lead validation /development activities involving the DVP&R, development trips, and
manufacturing facilities
Document emerging issues, aid in root cause, and lead the design and releasing team in
issue closure
Reporting findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Benchmarking of competitive vehicles
Maintain lessons learned and actively participate in cross vehicle Tech Clubs
Chassis/Engine Systems
In-vehicle validation of areas including braking, steering, suspension, underbody clearance, disabled vehicle recovery, trailer tow, powertrain, fuel systems, Jeep off-road rating, and hill descent control.
Lead development activities involving the targets and execution of customer functional objectives.
Lead validation /development activities involving the DVP&R, development trips, and manufacturing facilities.
Document emerging issues, aid in root cause, and lead the design and releasing team in issue closure.
Reporting findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Benchmarking of competitive vehicles
Maintain lessons learned and actively participate in cross vehicle Tech Clubs
**Basic Qualifications**:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or
equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program
Valid driver's license
Strong written and verbal communication
Strong planning and coordination skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working level knowledge of automobiles
Thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
Available to work full time from STAP facility.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or
equivalent (Materials /Chemical/Civil/Aerospace/Computer) from an ABET accredited university
5 years' experience in a vehicle development or design engineering
Working understanding of DVP&R and DFMEA
Expertise in reactive problem solving (Shainin/Red X)
