.DNV is seeking a Verification Engineer for Energy Systems to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of oil and gas equipment and systems.In this role, you will perform verification assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, evaluating design documentation, specifications, and test results.
You will create comprehensive verification plans, collaborate with project teams to align activities with timelines, and identify potential risks associated with project designs.Additionally, you will provide technical expertise to clients, stay updated on industry codes and regulations, and ensure all verification processes align with best practices.
Your responsibilities will also include maintaining quality assurance, conducting audits, generating detailed technical reports, and driving continuous improvements in verification workflows.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and take on project and bid management responsibilities to ensure the successful delivery of verification activities.This role will report to the Team Lead of Technical Verification and be based in our DNV office in Mexico City, Mexico.What You'll DoPerform verification assessments of oil and gas equipment and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Evaluate design documentation, specifications, and test results to verify adherence to applicable codes.Create comprehensive verification plans outlining the scope, methodologies, and acceptance criteria for different projects.Collaborate with project teams to align verification activities with project timelines and milestones.Identify potential risks associated with the design and implementation of oil and gas projects.Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the overall safety and reliability of the systems.Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements and expectations for verification activities.Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on compliance issues and best practices.Stay abreast of industry regulations, codes, and standards relevant to the oil and gas sector.Ensure that verification processes align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for verification activities.Conduct audits to verify that verification processes are consistently applied and meet company and industry standards.Generate comprehensive technical reports documenting verification activities, findings, and recommendations.Maintain accurate records of verification processes and outcomes for future reference and auditing purposes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, project managers, and clients, to facilitate effective communication and integration of verification activities.Identify opportunities for process improvement within the verification workflow
