Follows all cGMP and SOP's as defined by Viant Medical policies, practices and procedures to ensure that FDA and ISO regulations and quality standards are metProvide market intelligence (pricing trends, market shifts, key supplier transactions, competitor threats, opportunities, etc.) on a regular basis to key business stakeholders and executives to support decision making around cost and inventory opportunitiesEstablish and manage contracts with key suppliers to ensure supply continuity and price stabilityNegotiate favorable payment and commercial terms for strategic and non-strategic suppliers within the assigned commodity baseConduct Supplier Business Reviews with strategic supplier partners to review performance, price history, and qualityIdentify cost reduction opportunities, negotiate best pricing using should-cost modeling, and implement pricing programs into Viant manufacturing sites to drive year over year cost reductionsSupport all cost and supply programs from inception through implementation to ensure full results are realizedProvide escalation support to Viant manufacturing sites to close supply gaps, address quality issues, or improve overall service and performance by leveraging key relationships with strategic suppliers and knowledge of the commodity marketCreate sourcing strategies that support Viant and Viant's customers from New Product Introduction through product retirement in different volume and complexity profilesEstablish sourcing contracts providing inventory flexibility through Kanban, consignment, or other JIT-focused replenishment methodsPerforms other duties as assigned
