.Vice President - Finance Operations FTP V1 Outbound LeadIf you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join our Global Service Center (GSC)- HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President - Finance Operations FTP V1 Outbound Lead.The role will come under Global Finance operations which is the backbone of Global Finance and has 35% of Finance headcount across five locations NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, China, HK, Mexico, and Krakow.Our vision is to deliver consistent high-quality services with unparalleled efficiencies and improved operational effectiveness for FTP V1 (General Ledger system) outbound processes.Main activities:The role is for FTP V1 Finance Systems Maintenance Outbound lead wherein the job holder will undertake responsibilities to assess the impact of changes in FTP and interfaces out of FTP to downstream reporting applications. The role holder should possess understanding of various stages of an Implementation Project apart from a fair understanding of banking products life cycle accounting and reporting needs for a bank, ideally be well versed with visualization tools (Qlik), project tools (JIRA, RALLY), supporting/leading the planning and execution of all development and testing phases using Agile and HSBC Change Framework methodologies including stakeholders, communications, and risk management.Requirements:Qualification: CA, MBA, MCA, or post-graduate preferably in finance or banking domain with significant functional and analytical experience.Experience: Overall 15+ years with 5+ years of professional experience in Finance Systems Implementation projects.Experience in managing, negotiating, and influencing senior business relationships across geographies.Sound understanding of HSBC products, its life cycle accounting, systems, and business scenarios thereof.Understand changes in accounting policy and accounting flow and analyze the impacts from system perspective.Business change management experience with ability to drive change projects and solutions in a finance environment.Complex analytical reasoning skills enabling appraisal of the Global & Regional reporting requirements and translate into functional requirements for system development.Strong functional leadership skills and ability to deal with complex issues such as escalations and need for confidentiality.Should be able to deliver high-quality service in shared service finance environments based on PLA's and performance standards.Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to a global audience.Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing situations and to understand issues quickly.Capable of undertaking transfer of knowledge through training/coaching within & outside of teams.Strong working knowledge in MS Office tools
