Your mission as VP Operations, Mexico is to support the sustainable profitable growth in line with the Specialty Rental Division and regional strategy for Specialty Rental North America. You will also support ACRNA as being the leader in the oil free air rental business in North America. You will plan, organize, direct and control district operating functions. You will have overall management responsibility including profit and loss, budgeting, staffing and preparation of various month-end reports
The VP Operations will report to the General Manager of Rental North America and will have the following mission points:
**Safety and well being**
- Establishes high safety standards for audits, training and compliance with State, Federal, OSHA, D.O.T. regulations, drug and alcohol testing and the safe equipment maintenance program.
**HR Management**
- Ensures a continuous focus on growing the 'Competence, Confidence and Commitment' of his/her team members.
- Uses the Talent Framework as a guideline for people management and development.
- Facilitates Sales and Operations training as needed.
**Finance**
- Optimizes financial performance including revenue growth, OPR performance, working capital maximization (fleet and AR).
- Ensures accurate financial reporting and budget preparation.
**Business Development**
- Fosters a customer-focused approach to sales and service
- Develops a thorough understanding of market conditions including current customers, potential customers and competitors for assigned region
**Revenue Growth**
- Steers the 4D strategy around products, technology, customer segmentation and territory management to growth market and customer share in the region
- Has a dep business understanding of segments where we operate with the ambition to:
- Grow extensively our shares in 'Industrial Manufacturing'
- Continue to harvest business in 'Downstream & Midstream', 'Power & Mining'
- Look for new opportunities
- Reviews product pricing considering existing market conditions
**Operations**
- Steers Operational Excellence program to improve 'Customer Experience' and 'Profitability'
- Challenges his/her team in running the extra mile through the 'There is always a better way' concept
- Ensure maximum availability & reliability of our equipment and efficiency in operations through competence development, optimized planning, state of the art technical support, and reduced response time and reachability.
**To succeed, you need**
- Minimum 5 years of direct P&L responsibility preferred. In addition, prefer multiple branch/store experience or 5 or more years senior sales/operations management experience.
- BS in Business, Engineering, Marketing or related field. MBA is a must
- Microsoft Office and personal computing proficiency preferred
- Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel. Willingness to relocate preferred.
- Must be fluent in both the English and Spanish language

**Job location**
As VP Operations - Mexico, you will be based in our store in Monterrey, Mexico. This position is hybrid.
