We are seeking a talented and creative Remote Video Editor to join our team and contribute to the production of captivating videos that tell compelling stories.
**Role Overview**:**Responsibilities**:- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging, and cohesive video content, while adhering to project guidelines and timelines.- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives, messaging, and audience.- Utilize provided OEM footage, existing b-roll, and on-site shot material to create captivating visual narratives.- Perform color correction and audio correction to enhance the overall quality of the videos.- Collaborate with the team to incorporate client feedback and make necessary revisions.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software updates, and editing techniques to ensure the highest quality output.- Potentially contribute motion graphics and visual effects to enhance the video content.- Manage and organize project files and assets efficiently.- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met.
**Requirements**:- Proven experience as a video editor, showcasing a portfolio of previous work.- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) for video editing and potential motion graphics work.- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Knowledge of audio correction and color correction techniques.- Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and exporting settings.- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.- Ability to adapt to client preferences and feedback to refine projects.- Motion graphics expertise is a plus.
