**Industrial Engineer - Virtual Manufacturing Development **to join our growing team in **Greensboro, NC.**
The frame of work is composed by two focus areas, Process Planning and Virtual Manufacturing (VM) Studies.
The Process Plan is created inside the PDM-Link. The intention is to have a twin factory (Virtual & Physical) where the virtual Process Assembly Sequence (PAS) is developed and used to proactively perform virtual simulations & studies to support our Product and Process evolution, along with our Verification & Validation Plan activities.
The VM studies & simulations consist of performing the following analysis on the corresponding product data and process environment:
- Product Clash Analysis
- Tool Access
- Visibility
- Ergonomics
- Hand Access
- Installation Paths
**Other Responsibilities**
- Participate on Kick-Off Meetings and be able to clearly explain your CAD DMU.
- Packaging Data to the Engineers.
- Compile information for Final Review Meetings and present you Feedback Report.
- Propose Solutions to support Product and Process Alignment.
- Report conclusions to all stakeholders according to requesters direction.
**Qualifications**
- must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Engineering and CAD knowledge
- Tooling and equipment knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to details
- must have good knowledge / CAD Skills with VM CAD tools (PTC Creo View & Catia).
