Vision - Dre Forward/Rear Lighting

Job Description DRE for exterior lighting is responsible for working with PDO to develop the first surface of the headlamp or tail lamp, work with the supplier to develop the B surface (housing and lighting internals), develop the lamp output to meet legal and customer requirements, all packaging and mounting requirements to BIW, Fender, Grill, Fascia or Bumper surrounding components.  Engineer needs to support meeting throughout NA work hours and work closely with local engineering teams, Architecture/Vehicle Concepts, program science teams & PDO to develop and launch exterior lighting components and overall system.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:   Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program Minimum 5 years design, release and CAD packaging experience Experience designing and developing large injection molded components Experience with injection molding, thermophorming process, fixed glass, and decorating plastic components Fluent English Computer proficient (including spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and database applications) Experience with Catia V5, NX, and Teamcenter Additional Information Hybrid work.  Located in Toluca, State of Mexico
