**Main Duties**- Ground Handling of visiting aircraft to Ascension Island.-- Carry out tasks as briefed by the VAHS supervisor or the team leader.-- Work in a safe manner, reporting any incidents as soon as possible.-- Stop the servicing and report any incident to the team leader that you think might endanger the aircraft immediately.-- Be part of the team who are servicing Aircraft at Ascension Island.-- All tasks are too be completed safely and to current process and procedures.-- Carry out any other duties detailed by the VAHS Supervisor/Team Leader.-- Operation of aircraft support equipment, Water, Toilet and Food vehicles along with Aircraft Ground Handling equipment iaw extant procedures.-- To only operate equipment that you have been trained to use.-- Ensure checks on all VAHS plant, equipment etc.
including daily tool checks are carried out and signed for.-- Undertake other duties in support of the GES section as required.- What we are looking for-- Able to work well in a team, and follow direction.- Ability to work unsupervised.- Have the confidence to make decisions and report incidents to ensure the safety of the aircraft.-- Good verbal communication skill.-- Have good computer skills.- Medical fit with good eyesight, no colour blindness.- Full driving license,
