Why CompuCom? (Overview):The Vendor Management III role is responsible for assisting with pricing, buying / quoting regarding the purchase of technology related products and services. Compiling and analyzing statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. This role will compile information from market research to keep informed on suppliers within their specific category and price trends. Analyzing suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect price and determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meeting required schedules. Review proposals, negotiate prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyze trends, approve order placement, and maintain necessary records.What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities):- Lead the contract negotiation process, negotiating: pricing, key terms, service level requirements, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other performance metrics.- Manage the contract review process, obtaining the appropriate approvals prior to execution.- Maintain contracts for the assigned categories within the contract management tool on a continuous basis.- Develop and consistently execute category strategies across the assigned categories in support of achieving overall savings targets.- Analyze category markets; assess risk, gathering intelligence on fundamental conditions and technical information that impacts the category. Develop sourcing strategies and category strategies based on market intelligence gathered.- Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing and impact analysis.Who You Are (Qualifications):Level of Formal Education: BachelorsYears of Experience: 3-5 years' experience in procurement or strategic sourcingType of Experience: - Proficiency using MS Office - Excel intermediate knowledge - Work experience in procurement or a related field - Familiarity with sourcing and / or procurement software - Advanced knowledge of excelPreferred experience using ERP systems, CPIM and/or CPM certifications- (CPA, Etc.)Language Skills:Written and oral English
