Position Overview:My Client is seeking an experienced Vice President/Director of Operations to lead their automotive lighting operations in Mexico. This role will focus on optimizing production processes and ensuring high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Leadership: Oversee all aspects of automotive lighting production, including manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain.Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality in automotive lighting.Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.Financial Management: Manage budgets and performance metrics to ensure financial health and operational success.Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.Collaboration: Coordinate with R&D, sales, and other departments to align operations with business objectives and market needs.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.Experience: 10+ years in operations management within the automotive lighting industry, with experience in Senior management roles. Skills: Expertise in automotive lighting manufacturing, lean principles, and supply chain management.
