Additionally, we ranked as one of the Best Companies for Female Talent by EFY.The VP of Engineering is responsible for setting the right culture, growing and managing the engineering team, and ensuring the team delivers quality releases while also giving the rest of the organization transparency into the engineering process. The main objective of this role is to collaborate with the Chief Product & Technology Officer and other stakeholders to translate product strategy and requirements into actionable goals for the engineering organization.Delivery: Ensure the organization executes on agreed-upon deliverables, deployment frequency, and lead time for changes. Ensure the team has the necessary tools, resources, and skills to be successful. Collaborate closely with product management, design, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects. Oversee and improve the software development and delivery processes. Monitor the organization's performance and quality of deliverables.Architecture: Ensure teams build systems that scale and implement modular and decoupled architecture to enhance flexibility, maintainability, and upgrade ease. Enable teams to build resilient systems that can gracefully handle features and maintain service availability through redundancy and fault-tolerant design. Ensure teams actively address technical debt to maintain code quality, system performance, and developer productivity.Culture: Motivate engineering leaders and their teams to live by the Kueski engineering principles.
