**About our client**We are currently working with a seasoned private equity real estate in Mexico with solid presence in the real estate sector. Our client is seeking a VP of strategy, portfolio management & transactions to oversee fund and debt raising, corporate finance, M&A and capital markets, as well as the investment portfolio management. This position is based in Mexico City.**What the job involves**- Actively participate in capital raising, deal sourcing, through the investment process until execution- Work closely with senior management coordinating strategic planning and resource allocation- Monitor and review reports on progress and performance of the fund- Support the management team in overseeing strategy, budgeting, risk, talent, compensation, and M&A initiatives- Take an active part in outlining and implementing the fund's future strategy- Overlook and analyze assets' performance, ensuring the portfolio is on track, mitigating potential issues- Represent the fund to the market, to partners and to all applicable stakeholders and relevant authorities- Build and maintain relationships through the real estate sector and liaise with internal teams**Who we are looking for**- Experience in the investment process from capital raising to execution- Solid experience in M&A, portfolio management, and tax- Strong skills in due diligence, financial modeling, and valuations- Analytical, organized, and self-driven- Attention to detail- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
