We are seeking a Vice President of Operations in Miami, Mexico City, or Cancun.As the Vice President of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our portfolio's operations and revenue performance.
You will be responsible for implementing innovative strategies, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring the seamless functioning of our properties.
Your expertise in financial analysis, operational evaluation, and strategic planning will be instrumental in achieving our long-term goals and aligning our operations with the interests of our valued hotel owners.
**Responsibilities**:- Monitor and oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotels, ensuring smooth functioning, exceptional guest experiences, and adherence to brand standards.- Analyze revenue streams, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.- Conduct financial reviews and analyses to assess the financial performance of our properties, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.- Evaluate the operational performance of hotels, identify areas for enhancement, and implement strategies to drive operational excellence.- Coordinate and manage capital expenditure strategies for each property, ensuring timely and efficient execution of projects.- Provide advice and guidance to ownership on overall operations management issues, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.- Support senior hotel management in making quick and effective decisions by communicating promptly and preparing decision-making agendas.- Lead and coordinate improvement projects, acting as a project leader and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.- Coordinate and manage the yearly insurance policy quoting process, advising ownership on policy coverage improvements, and handling claim management during catastrophic events.- Assess, develop, and implement hotel value enhancement opportunities, including capital projects and return on investment (ROI) analysis.- Identify and address life safety, legal, or physical deficiencies, taking prompt action to rectify them and ensure compliance.- Prepare comprehensive written reports, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and provide accurate and timely information.Qualifications:- A minimum of 10 years of experience in hospitality management and operations, all-inclusive, and EP model required.- Excellent understanding of hotel operations, guest service standards, and brand positioning in the Mexican market is required.- Strong financial acumen, with financial analysis, budgeting, and P&L management expertise.- Proven track record in maximizing revenue and profitability in the hospitality industry
