We are looking for a talented MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - SENIOR to join our specialized MANUFACTURING team for our XPI STAFF in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, MEXICO.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Leads the planning, design, purchasing and implementation of changes to manufacturing equipment and systems while leading and co-leading teams.
- Leads specific project work to create and implement all aspects of a manufacturing process to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing objectives, business objectives, and product specifications are met.
- Impacts work by utilizing continuous improvement tools, following standards, and leading the development of manufacturing standards and work methods.
- Leads communications and influences key external stakeholders, business leaders and functional members.
- Works with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.
- Leads advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices
- Maintains relationships and trains key stakeholders.
To be successful in this position, you will need the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical or Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience or NPI.
- Project Management - knowledge of Project Management Methodology (PMI).
- Knowledge of APQP (new product introduction phases, documentation requirements for the approval process of production parts)
- Experience in Machine Integration and Automation (machine integration process, mechanical design, process, Fail safes)
- Basic programming knowledge (Rslogix PLC and HMI integration; Basic visual programming and Python)
- Basic knowledge in designing/reading electrical diagrams using Autocad and selection of control equipment.
- Basic knowledge in GD&T (mechanical design concepts and functional reviews. Interpretation of technical drawings to identify and provide feedback on design opportunities for manufacturing and best practices, design of tools, methods and machines).
- Intercommunications and data control - Knowledge of server implementation, database creation using Access and/or SQL; production machines local net development. (User Level)
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 is desired.
- English 85% (Conversational)
- US and global travel available
