Waiter Assistant

We are looking for a BAR/DINING ASSISTANT, a professional with basic knowledge to work in the bar-restaurant department and provide support in all the tasks requested.Responsabilities:- Continue with health protocols: essential for the correct development of the dining room.- Pre-opening of the different services, switching on the machinery: preparation of tongs, switching on coffee makers, table linen and cutlery.- Collection and assembly of tables: in charge of preparing the tables for clients according to the protocol and their subsequent removal after their use.- General cleaning: in charge of maintaining neatness both on the clients' tables and in the dining area.- Replacement of kitchenware during service: in charge of replacing all kitchen utensils and table service.- Setting up cold dinners: as this is an extra service that clients have, upon request at reception, the waiters will be in charge of preparing the pack.- Fold napkins: prepare napkins for lunch and dinner service.- Customer service: having the necessary tools and skills to provide possible help to customers.- Greet customers and lead them to their tables: it is essential to greet and remember the names of repeat customers to provide familiar treatment.- Inform about the buffet: detect when it is a customer's first time to be able to explain the buffet.Requirements:- Experience of at least 1 year in the position within the hospitality sector.- Basic training related to hospitality or kitchen areas.- Capacity for organization and teamwork.- Knowledge of the English language will be valued.Discontinuous fixed contract is offered.
