**Job Description**:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the direct supervision and handling of all warehousing and distribution functions of a department in the Logistics located at Juarez Plant.
Key tasks include:
- Ensure standard procedures are followed in all warehouse activities
- Assist in the development and revision of procedures to meet changing customer and corporate expectations.
- Work with Warehouse Manager and Supervisors to ensure associates have the resources in place to deliver against required service levels efficiently and effectively.
- Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and critical thinking to strategic and tactical work.
- Explore and participate in performance improvement and cost optimization opportunities
- Ensure all Health and Safety regulatory training and compliance related activities are completed and followed.
- Develop direct reports through day to day coaching, training and work assignments
- Create a team capable of performing cross-functional activities
- Responsible for Daily/Weekly / Monthly reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
- Responsible for interviewing and hiring staff for the operational area.
- Travel Expectation: Limited occasional travel to El Paso, Texas when required.
**Qualifications**:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of warehousing experience as coordinator, supervisor or team lead
- 5+ years of experience with MS Office tools including Word, Excel(v-look ups, pivot tables, etc.
), PowerPoint and Outlook
- 3+ years of SAP Logistics Execution experience
- ** English/Spanish Bi-lingual**
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive business
- Knowledge of C-TPAT/AEO requirements and audits
- Demonstrated experience in effectively directing, motivating, developing and coaching team members
- Demonstrated ability to assess and improve warehousing and logistics processes
- Customer first attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills
- Cross-border business experience
- Out of the box thinking / cross-functional awareness (Logistics planning, manufacturing, sales, quality)
- Ability to integrate IT solutions to resolve problems
- Budgeting experiance
- Experience with 3PL
