**BUILD A SIGN****Solicita**:**Warehouse Manager****Descripción y Requisitos****Position Overview**:- The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the receipt of materials and/or finished goods,- delivering materials to designated areas, maintaining inventory (including inventory counts/records), and- managing the personnel of the warehouse department.
The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for- capacity planning, best practice development, training plans, as well as a commitment to continuously- improving the quality and efficiency standards of the warehouse.
The role is highly dynamic andcombines both tactical and strategic activities which must often be conducted simultaneously.
**Desired outcomes/Principal Duties**:- Lead the team, including personnel responsibility such as recruitment, training, coaching, review and disciplinary processes.- Motivate the team and ensure that the company's core values are reflected in the attitudes and behaviors of the staff at all times.- Ensure that the team daily huddles are consistent and that the warehouse's internal customers** **are well informed on provided business and team communication.- Clearly assigns responsibility for tasks and decisions, sets objectives and measures, monitors process, progress, and results, and documents all procedures and trains staff to the latter.- Ensures that the team has the support needed to execute improvement project tasks.- Supervise and assist daily in warehouse/receiving areas.- Measure and report the effectiveness of the department's activities.- Develop and maintain departmental work instructions for all tasks.- Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow.- Interpret company policies to direct reports and enforce safety regulations.- Recommend measures to improve quality of service, increase efficiency of department, and reliability of equipment performance.- Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices- Engage the team and co-workers in the design of solutions to recurring issues.- Confer with other managers to coordinate activities of individual departments and serve internal customers.- Leads/participates in end of month inventory counts.
