**Role Overview**:Manages a team responsible for warehousing and distribution. Also manages processes including services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer service and safety. Responsible for identifying opportunities for streamlining inventory according to distribution needs. Directly supervises between 15 until 20 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Logistic Operators and Carriers. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.**Responsibilities**:- Responsible of reducing operational costs through effective inventory management and inventory reduction.- Directs and effectively manages human capital; provides training to ensure proficient warehouse performance and a sound workplace environment to focus on Company goals and objectives.- Strategically establishes plans for transportation, routes, and process shipments- Inventory control and create a KPI about the customers experience- Improves "layout" projects to continuously maximize operating performance and provide exceptional customer service; reorganizes warehouse inventory structure according to demand.- Organized the on-call program to achieve a good coverage to our customers- Issues monthly inventory reports to maximize stock reduction by identifying items with limited demand and to coordinate product devolution.- Issues delivery and incoming merchandise and freight costs reports; suggests restocking according to inventory backlog.- Develops and establishes processes to improve current procedures and achieve levels of operational excellence.- Monitors backlog and manages inventory to control quality and maintain stock levels.- Coordinates full cycle orders and heavy cargo exportations throughout different carriers, transport costs and efficiency.- Complies with laws, regulations and Company policies and procedures.**Education**:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fieldLicenses/ Certifications: Green Belt strongly recommended.**Experience**:- 5 years of experience in a similar role (with warehouse team) or in a frontline management position- Experience in the medical device industry or medical plans.- Proven experience in leading a warehouse team and/or proven experience in motivating and managing a team- History of being accountable change management- Process ownership experience- English and Spanish bilingual
