Summary
The Warehouse Operator I is responsible for selecting and stacking cases to produce a palletized order to ship out to customers. While working in the direct-to-consumer department, the Warehouse Operator I is responsible for processing and shipping out orders in an accurate manner.
Responsibilities- Select orders accurately without damage in accordance with production standards- Verify slot number, description, pack, and size of cases designated by RF to ensure accurate selection of product- Lift cartons from the conveyor line and place them on a pallet in the proper carton orientation as indicated by the system- Construct sturdy, balanced pallet loads for accurate, damage-free shipping in accordance with production standards- Verify wave number, pallet number, SKU and SKU quantities as designated by the system to ensure accurate stacking and movement of product- Construct sturdy, balanced bundles of cartons for accurate, damage-free shipping in accordance with production standards-
- Provide feedback/recommendations on improving work methods- Document Hazardous Material- Work with, create, and change SOPs for process and quality improvements- Lift and stack empty pallets in proper pallet return locations- Participate in periodic and annual inventories as needed- Assist in training of new employees as needed- Process shipping labels, pull product and verify orders for the direct-to-consumer operations
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED- Must have good communication skills - both verbal and written- Available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed- Must display a strong work ethic and sense of urgency- Ability to work in a team-based, feedback friendly, environment- Display high attention to detail, organization, and a process-driven mindset- Must be knowledgeable and abide by all company safety policies and procedures- Previous work experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment- Ability to work with basic computer programs and systems- Ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day- Must be able to work in a production environment that involves lifting boxes and product up to 40 pounds.- Work requires moderate physical effort and the use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity
