.Job Overview:We are currently seeking an adaptable, successful, and experienced Warehouse Specialist for our pulses business as we expand our business in Mexico. In this role, you will assume responsibility for the management of the warehouse operations and will also support contact with customers. This person will work closely with all departments within ETG Commodities Inc. and associated companies.Position Responsibilities:Plan and strategically manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.Direct, optimize and coordinate the complete order cycle.Supervise the activities of receiving, storage, distribution, and maintenance of machinery.Arrange the layout and ensure efficient use of space.Initiate, coordinate and apply optimal operating policies and procedures.Respect all legal storage, handling, and shipping requirements.Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and protection.Manage stock control and compare it with the data storage system.Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.Track quality, quantity, stock levels, lead times, transportation costs, and efficiency.Organize the warehouse, catalog merchandise, plan routes, and process shipments.Resolve any problem or complaint that arises.Supervise, coach, and train warehouse staff.Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and punctuality goals.Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.Comply with laws, regulations, and any certification requirements.Other responsibilities as required or assigned.Employment Qualifications:Business Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or another relevant field.3-5 years of Warehouse Management experience.Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills both written and oral.Proficient computer skills.Available to work extended hours.Other Competencies:Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.Keen analytical sense for insights and data interpretation.Exceptionally well organized and driven by success.Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.Outstanding negotiating skills.Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills.Decisive and committed.InclusivityETG Commodities Inc. is committed to the guiding principle of equal opportunity for all employees and to thriving in a workplace that is free from discrimination and harassment.
