Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and ensure that the number of shipments, quality metrics, revenue, and transactional sales are closely monitored and managed to meet productivity goals and target sales figures. The warehouse supervisor will collaborate with suppliers to maintain operations under control and deliver the results expected by the organization, managing Customer Service and Quality related processes, adeptly handling issues and steering them towards prevention, ensuring Schneider Quality Policy. This role suggests and proposes new processes aimed at minimizing human error through automation. This forward-thinking approach enhances efficiency and contributes to the continuous improvement of the distribution center's operations.
Responsibilities Leads Customer Site Visits and Interactions program: Communicates with customers to provide key performance indicators and service levels; understands and listens to concerns and needs of the customers and follows up with action plans; negotiates with customers on the logistics terms and delivery of shipments; visits various branches of customers to understand their specific needs; provides immediate actions for their concerns; and advocates for the customer within our site with the 3PL. Supervise and Ensure Execution of the Shipment Plan: Manages collaborative efforts with planning, warehouse, inbound and outbound teams to organize daily plans of shipments to achieve targets and maximize operational capacity; supervises productivity and operations. Leads the Mexico Allocation Program of all the Business Units: Oversees the cleaning of backorder value for customers; manages collaborative efforts with the planning team to receive forecast materials and release high runners' materials and specific sale orders; collaborates with business development managers to review the recovery product plan with manufacturing plants to allocate properly and balance the customer's inventory. Leads Operations to Achieve Revenue Target Sales: Monitors and identifies potential barriers that could impede delivery of key materials to distributors and works with commercial, front office, channels management, and finance members to follow up on sales targets and distributor consumption. Leads the SDP Program: Leads the Schneider Development Program team members on their rotations into the Mexico Distribution Center, following up on their development and performance goals and supervising task completion. Functions as the Sustainable Program Champion: Oversees sustainable projects, manages follow-up efforts with suppliers, and implements activities with the team to deliver results aligned with North America key performance indicators. Manages the Adherence of Golden Rules on Shipments: Ensures compliance with quality golden rules on every shipment; shares golden rules specifications for shipments with the team; prepares materials, packaging, and pallets accordingly. Manages Quality Control Measures: Implements stringent quality control measures for incoming and outgoing goods to minimize the risk of shipping defective products, which could lead to customer dissatisfaction or safety issues. Standardizes Training Procedures and Processes: Ensures that training procedures across multiple departments and shifts align with Schneider Performance systems standards. Drives Relevant Quality Programs and Methods: Implements quality programs and methods (8D, Lean 6 Sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of daily operations.
