Supervise and coordinate the activities of the personnel in charge to carry out a physical control and in the system referring to: receiving, storing, ordering, inventorying and shipping raw materials or finished product, tools, equipment, and parts in warehouses or yards.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Instruct and supervise that proper handling of items received, stored, and shipped is carried out; methods and use of equipment necessary to store, maintain, and carry out the shipping action; and related issues.
- Ensure that inventory input and output transactions are captured properly and expeditiously in the system.
- Oversee cyclical counting reconciliation activities.
- Establish and adjust work processes to meet warehouse demands, such as PEPS and material handling programs, as required by production scheduling and workflow.
- Consult with the rest of the supervisors to coordinate the individual needs of each department to have an optimal internal customer service.
- Plan the layout of the warehouse, considering sales volume, size, weight, and related factors of the items stored.
- Schedule dates and times for inventories.
- Effectively measure and report departmental activities.
- Develop and maintain the department's work instructions.
- Suggest plans to motivate your staff to achieve goals.
- Suggest changes to improve working conditions to avoid accidents, as well as equipment to increase the efficiency of your work area.
- Ensure that the personnel in charge comply with the policies of the company, as well as security measures according to current regulations.
- Provide its workers with personal protective equipment according to the operations they perform
- Suggest plans to motivate your staff to achieve goals.
- Supervises and delegates work to subordinates and evaluates their performance effectively.
- Recommend measures to improve and correct the quality of service, increase the efficiency of the department's performance.
- Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean manufacturing practices.
- Keep work areas clean.
- Comply with the company's safety and environmental rules.

**EXPERIENCE**:
**Essential**:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the position, desirable in electronic maquiladora company
- English 70% minimum
- Computer management
- Microsoft Office parcel handling
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
- Knowledge of Kanban and points of use
- APICS/CPIM certification desirable
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
