Join us now and become part of 18,000 colleagues creating an exciting world together.Position Description:Operate the Wastewater Treatment Plant to ensure treated water discharged into the Gran Canal meets permissible limits according to internal procedures and applicable local legislation (NOM-001). Generate internal records and monthly reports for effective operation of the treatment plant.Ensure efficient operation of equipment in the Wastewater Treatment Plant to maintain reliability and compliance with daily treatment volumes established in our environmental permits and licenses.Propose innovation projects focused on Circular Economy, water reuse, and reduction of water extraction volumes from wells at the SCL Site.Maintain optimal conditions of the Biological Reactor based on reference parameters such as dissolved O2, N2, Phosphorus, Total Solids, and Biochemical Oxygen Demand.Ensure "Zero" coliforms or bacteria in the discharge to the Gran Canal by maintaining proper functioning and quantity of hypochlorite, while exploring new technologies for water disinfection.Coordinate and document quality sampling of wastewater and potable water through approved external laboratories to ensure regulatory compliance.Implement 6s in the area and manage waste disposal according to internal procedures, while complying with established safety and environmental programs (HSEQ).Value Added:Avoid legal non-compliance in wastewater discharge that could lead to fines or revocation of the concession title.Work Relations:Environmental Protection for analyzing water parameters at different points in the treatment plant.Energy for support in the operation of the wastewater treatment plant during night shifts and non-working days.Engineering to jointly review improvement proposals requiring investment in new equipment and technologies.Maintenance to ensure operation and integrity of equipment through preventive and/or corrective maintenance.Purchasing for service and material requests.Qualifications:Technical career with 5+ years of experience or Industrial, Chemical, Chemical Industrial, or Environmental Engineering degree.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience operating wastewater treatment plants, boilers, and compressors.Knowledge of national and international environmental regulations, especially for determining water quality, including potable and wastewater.Software: Basic Office suite.Language: Intermediate English.Soft Skills: C3 Values, Planning and Alignment, Business Knowledge, Strategic Thinking, Managing Ambiguity, Collaboration, Responsibility
