Wce Engineer Associate

The Specification/ PLM Engineer is a support position for Cooper-Standard World Class Product Development Engineering. Their primary function is to assist in daily tasks related to WCE functions. The Specification/ PLM Engineer is responsible to assist tasks related to digital tools, including technical specifications, and VAVE support.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Design Program Engineering PLM support
- Support International Design Program Engineer team's management of part definition using PLM (Product Live Management) systems, in collaboration with Design CAD Engineers and Engineering management.
- Technical contact person of Cooper PLM (Product Live Management) IT Core team.
- Enhancement of existing PLM use, development of new engineering tools, procedure, guidelines, best practices, kpi's based on PLM and Microsoft Sharepoint.
- Sponsorship / training of Design Program Engineers (Intermediate / Associate) and teamwork with them
- Search and develop ideas of useful efficient tools for Design Program Engineers.
- Act as a Key User for Windchill-PLM tasks related.
- Global Specifications library management within Cooper Standard PLM system.
- Cooper Standard's new business specifications migration to Specifications Global PLM Library.
- Update Global Specifications PLM Library according to I H S and OEM/Customer specifications alerts.
- VAVE- Support some activities related to VAVE
- Maybe required to perform other tasks requested by Manager
