Job Overview We are seeking a WEB Solution Architect who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our web area of expertise (web desktop, cloud solutions, browser-based solutions, etc) You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the applications built are meeting stakeholders' requirements/needs and are following the highest standards of quality and performance Reporting directly to the IT Product Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities Technical owner of the technology stack/area of expertise (web solutions: web desktop, cloud solutions, browser-based solutions, etc) Manages the external developers that report directly to the Solution Architect (to ensure they are onboarded, fulfill Autoliv standards and adhere to the way of working in the group) Provides technical leadership with guidance and support to the development team Ensures Compliance with Autoliv Standards: coordinate the development and release of web applications in strict adherence to Autoliv's quality and security standards (all code and features meet the Autoliv requirements, maintaining high standards of performance, reliability and security throughout the application lifecycle) Acts as a scrum master for the pillar/group he is responsible Collaborates with various teams to ensure successful implementation & security Participates in project technology stack selection / Cross vision of all platform capabilities Participates in process development standardization Collaborates and reviews solution design with other solution architects Participates in continuous improvement to the technology stack and to each of the solution hosted Responsible for identifying potential risks and issues related to the area of expertise and taking actions for their mitigation.
Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Proficient in front end/back-end/database/API development in various development languages.
Experience in software architecture design Qualification and experience with DEVOPS tools & principles Qualification and experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies English language skills, both written and verbal, technical and informal, with the ability to communicate effectively across global teams.
Experience working in distributed teams across different time zones, demonstrating an ability to work collaboratively with remote communication, persuasion & negotiation skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in pillar/ area of expertise (web) Proactive & analytical mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning Preferred Qualifications Experience with low-code development platforms.
Knowledge of web security best practices Previous experience in leadership roles is a plus Familiar with project management methodologies
