About the role
- The Website Product Manager will play a critical role operating in a scrum environment to define and prioritize website features, manage the website backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality website for Nielsen customers and prospects.
- This role requires effective communication with partners, the ability to translate business goals into actionable user stories, and ensuring the continuous improvement of the website in partnership with the website stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**:
- Defines, delivers and manages the feature and functionality roadmap for the Nielsen Corporate website
- Leverages best practices and performance insights to provide input to partners on the website vision and execution plan.
- Owns and prioritizes the website backlog, ensuring it reflects business priorities and stakeholder business needs.
- Act as the liaison between website stakeholders and development scrum team
- Participates in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews
- Partners with stakeholders to gather business requirements and incorporate user feedback into the product backlog to improve website performance and the digital experience for users.
- Communicates website release plans and updates to stakeholders and the broader organization on the status of the website backlog
- Leads training sessions for stakeholders to educate and train users on new features, changes, and website functionality
- Works team members to ensure that features meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.
- Works to identify ways to improve processes and gain operational efficiencies as it relates to Nielsen's corporate website.

**Qualifications**:
- BS in Business, Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years experience in a product owner role managing websites or other marketing technology
- A strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with request/bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Trello, Smartsheet etc
- Experience with Marketing technologies including WordPress VIP, Wistia, Weglot, Google Marketing Platform Suite, and Salesforce
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and able to envision the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and problem solving abilities to prioritize and manage key business challenges.
- Exceptional customer relationship and account management skills including the ability to uncover and discover requirements underlying feature requests and recommend alternative technical and business approaches
