Wedding Manager
**What will I be doing?**
As a Wedding Manager, you will guide the Wedding Coordinators team who will attend the events in the hotel, always ensuring the quality and efficiency of our services. You will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Supervise the Wedding Coordinators' work to deliver our standard services to our customers and achieve our financial goals.
- Meet with customers alongside the Wedding Manager to guarantee the success of large groups and events.
- Get involved with negotiations for groups and events to maximize results.
- Coordinate the "function meeting" with vital information about groups and events happening in the next 10 days.
- Be responsible for the weekly communication meeting with the coordinators.
- Know and promote the hotel facilities, as well as understand our competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
- Organize hotel visits and handle unexpected requests.
- Serve as the contact between the client and hotel staff when necessary.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and Revenue Management to ensure that the entire sales process is completed and up to date.
- Update daily sales activities in the hotel systems, ensuring that information is correct and consistent in the Groups Report.
- Review rates, groups, deadlines, and waiting lists.
- Review commission reports for groups, events, and Food and Beverage.
- Participate in special activities, such as secretary cocktails, welcome dinners for groups, etc.
- Ensure all requests are answered within 24 hours.
- Stay informed about clients and foster relationships with them.
- Maintain a positive work environment and good communication within the department and with other hotel departments to ensure compliance with Brand Standards and customer satisfaction.
- Comply with stipulated timelines and adapt to changes according to the hotel's operational needs.
- Know and promote the hotel's activities and events.
**What are we looking for?**
A Weddings Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and collaborating with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should embody the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values outlined below:
- Completed Graduate Degree or MBA in Management, Hospitality, or Marketing
- Fluent in English; a second language is desirable
- Previous experience in sales and events/banquets, preferably in a hotel setting, with leadership and team supervision roles
- Strong analytical skills to strategically evaluate sales opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Capacity to handle stressful situations while promoting a constructive and positive attitude
- Knowledge of product and marketing, including hotel operations, policies, and team organization
- Quick and efficient problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
