Job DescriptionThe Weight Process and Tools Lead is responsible for documenting weight related processes, developing training materials and to help drive implementation of tools that increase efficiency.Daily activities include but are not limited to the following :Lead Creation of System and Process Documentation for tool development, Training, Weight Applications and to provide Engineering & Marketing SupportDevelop training for weight team new hiresImprove Processes and Tools where applicableIncrease Engineering EfficienciesIncrease Weight Fidelity TrackingSupport VWMS Application rewriteSupport replacement of Notes VWRS SystemWrite requirements for replacement of PDB SystemDocument Fuel Economy Label Process and ToolsManage Process and Tools for Marketing Publication of Weight DataSupport NA Global Weight meetings and assignmentsCoordinate activities with the Weight LabRequirementsBasic Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.5+ years of relevant automotive product development experience.Knowledge of the overall program development life cycleStrong proficiency in Microsoft computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).Experience in Process and Tools developmentPreferred Qualifications :Prior experience in weight engineeringKnowledge of Vehicle Demand Energy analysis or fuel economyPrior work experience with Chrysler, FCA or Stellantis EngineeringStrong communicator both (verbal & written)Ability to create and deliver presentation material to Senior ManagementComfortable challenging others using data to support a positionGood at leading teams with ability to influence and motivate others into actionAbility to develop project plans and work under timing constraintsSelf-motivated, works with limited supervision, able to multi-task and prioritize workloadProficient at conducting analysis and formulating recommendationsAbility to work in a team, build good working relationships and gain consensus#J-18808-Ljbffr
