Job DescriptionWeld Production Manager Job Information We are seeking an experienced Weld Production Manager to oversee our welding production operations, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in producing Bobcat equipment.
The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of welding processes, including MIG, FCAW, and robotic welding, as well as experience with lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities: Welding Operations Oversee the welding production process, ensuring compliance with Bobcat's welding standards and procedures.Manage the welding team, providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to improve skills and performance.Collaborate with welding engineers to develop and implement welding procedures and techniques.Production Management Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and procedures to meet customer demands and quality standards.Coordinate with other departments (e.g., fabrication, machining, and assembly) to ensure seamless production operations.Monitor and analyze production metrics (e.g., throughput, yield, and cycle time) to identify areas for improvement.Requirements: Education Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in welding production management or a related field, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.Proven track record of success in managing welding production operations, including experience with robotic welding and lean manufacturing principles.Skills Strong knowledge of welding processes, including MIG, FCAW, and robotic welding.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and lean manufacturing principles.Certifications AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent.ASME Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or equivalent.About Company Strategic knowledge and a culture of innovation are the basis of the accomplishments and solutions we have shared with over 600 clients among a broad field of industries.
