If that sounds like a challenge you want to help tackle, we want you to join our team!- Make sure all required permits and safety PPE are provided.- Read the applicable welding specification carefully prior to welding activities- Verify the materials (size, grade, wt. heat # etc.) according to drawing, welding matrix etc.- Verify the welding equipment with unexpired calibration date, correct consumable types etc.- Verify the correct WPS and joint geometry.- Verify the welder qualification is valid.- Check all the requirements listed under production welding of the welding specification are met.- Document welding parameters during production welding at the sample frequency required and verify the parameters are within WPS ranges.- Visual inspection of the completed weld.- Verify NDE technician qualification and witness NDE activities.- Repair welding if needed after request approval and detailed documentation.- Report deviation/variance.- Prepare welding quality records/forms/redlines.About our businessTC Energy is a leading energy infrastructure company in North America.
