**Objective**Lead and manage the splicing processes of all Battery Trays programs. The Welding Sr. Engineer will be responsible for ensure compliance with the performance KPIs of the hot bonding processes.**Main Responsibilities**- Comply with the welding KPI's, manage and control all the welding processes of the EMC 2 plant- Modify and/or adjust welding parameters to meet with the requirements of our client- Maintain weld FTT at a minimum of 90%- Reduce internal SCRAP derived from welding processes.- Improve the performance of welding consumables.- Maintain an optimal welding health chart according to the requirements of our clients.- Analyze C&E reports and trigger necessary adjustments based on their experience in conjunction with welding technicians- Support in the training and training of plant welders- Train and train welding technicians- Control the performance of welding processes through process audits- Lead the CQI-15 audit with our clients.- Support FMEA and PC creation and update.**Position Requirements**- Bachelor's degree Mechanical, mechatronic or electrical engineer- Advanced English- Experience in assembly processes, preferably bodywork, BIW- Welding and/or manufacturing specialist- Knowledge of GMAW, GTAW and RSW welding processes- Knowledge of destructive and non-destructive welding validation- destructive- Experience in welding and assembly processes in the automotive industry- Experience in adjustment of GMAW & GTAW welding parameters- GD&T experience.- At Nemak, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) play a fundamental role in everything we do and are the underlying platform on which our culture is built.
