Scope:
Diageo Mexico has multiplied the Sales (volume) two times in the last five years and our growth projection is to double the business into the next 5 years. We have a clear vision of being recognized as one of the top 3 sales forces.
Diageo has a solid position as market leader into the growing category of whisky. We want to strengthen our position in whisky category, but at the same time we have decided to expand our relevance and continue with our value creation strategy by entering in some other categories, such as rum, vodka and premixes.
Competitiveness in the industry and more demanding customers have driven the suppliers to develop new business strategies based on deep business analysis and insight generation to meet their expectations and achieve our bold business goals through execution.
This role will drive the transformation agenda for the wholesale channel, directly influencing 50% of the team and channel billing. It will focus on optimizing sales at the point of purchase (Sell Out) and sustainably recruiting consumers to TBA.
Market Complexity:
Competitors are becoming more professionals in their approach with customers. We have been ahead of them, but in a changing environment we need to continue leading the way of doing business with them, including new concepts and variables into the conversation and generating customer, consumer and shopper insights to build value for both.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Develop the functional and leadership skills of your team (approximately 6 people).
- Achieve sustainable market share growth in your handled clients/territory.
- Lead the P&L of your accounts at the CAAP level, aligned with DIAGEO's vision of bringing value for clients, consumers, and buyers.
- Expand brand presence to ensure our products are in the right places with the right brands.
- Generate initiatives to attract consumers across all alcoholic beverages, including wines, RTD, and beer.
Top Accountabilities:
- Responsible for Volume, budget management and commercial relationship results
- Responsible for stocking and healthy inventories objectives
- Responsible for looking for opportunities to increase Share in TBA
- Responsible for distribution, collection and fill rate objectives achievement
- Generate relevant contributions in terms of cash flow for the company
Qualifications and Experience Required:
