**OVERVIEW**- This position is responsible for providing organization and structure to support Western Hemisphere Sourcing team focused on production planning and costing. Partnering with the Product Development and Buying teams in Lawrence and Miami, the WHS CAPA Supervisor will oversee production planning and costing control for all WHS product. This person should be fluent in English and Spanish in order to provide effective communication of the business needs._**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**This person will have responsibility managing relationships and processes with our Western Hemisphere Sourcing factories. To do this, s/he will:- Master data administration- Customer specifications- Order Management- Production planning and control- Coordinate Queue Management and/or Production scheduling.- Ensures products availabilities by taking actions to solve backorders and shortages- Ensure continuous needs/resources balance for raw material, components, sub-assemblies and finished products- Manage the replenishment backlog (creation and rescheduling of the manufacturing and purchase orders)- Coordinate Queue Management and/or Production scheduling.- Manage the shortage and to take actions to insure the availability of product- Support stock discrepancies analysis and support adjustments.- Planning and control of pre series and ramp up production- Communicate program quantities, production NLT's & size run information in order to negotiate FC and secure best pricing.- Responsible for working with the factories and providing the target timing to hit requested NLT dates.- Partner with factories to populate and update the WHS factory tracker to provide clarity of sample status, costing, etc. throughout the development/reorder process.- Support our WHS team in different tasks when need it.**QUALIFICATIONS**- A 4 year degree is preferred.- At minimum, 5 years factory work experience with strong multi-tasking capabilities.- Prior international experience working with U.S. footwear companies preferred.- Fluent in written & spoken English & Spanish.- Effective understanding of cultural diversity & good intercultural communication.- Highly organized, good communicator**.**- Pro-active, self-motivated.- Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.- Effective prioritizing and time management skills.- Highly motivated- Experience with SAP is a plus (Purchasing, Production planning)- Understanding of Engineering /Manufacturing Process is a plus- Capacity for problems analysis and synthesis- Proficiency in Excel- Intercultural skills, team spirit, result oriented- Initiative- Leadership**Experience**:- Cost Analyst: 3 years (preferred)- Factory: 5 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)
