**The Wiring Systems Engineer will be responsible for**:
Developing the wire harness complexity for the design of the Electrical System and related components
Selection of wire attributes and wire option coding
Design and validate the electrical systems and released components to ensure we meet all Stellantis electrical specifications in the vehicle and component environments
Will support PWB and manufacturing facilities for entire life cycle, manage supplier systems engineering support team, manage large amounts of data and be fluent working in corporate computer systems
**Basic Qualifications**:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Materials /Chemical/ Civil/ Aerospace/Computer) from an ABET accredited university
3 years of transportation wiring design and release experience or vehicle electrical system experience
5 years of engineering experience
Excellent communication skills that include writing, creation and presentation of management level high quality presentation materials and reports
Proficient in MS Office suite of tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
Experience using wire harness schematic generation tools (preferred Capital Tools Suite)
Training in DFMEA, DVP&R and DFSS development tools and processes
Working knowledge of CAD systems (NX, Catia)
Fluency in Spanish and English
Experience in high volume manufacturing facilities
Web publishing and familiarity with SharePoint data management environments
