When women play a vital role at Caterpillar, the whole company wins.**Description**To manage a staff responsible for providing the most efficient, economical and timely design and services required to support the manufacturing operation related to optimize resources for a proactive Machinery and Equipment (M&E) maintenance programs. This is a fully functioning journey level position, for an incumbent with a varied amount of maintenance process, who may obtain assistance from a more experienced senior level person. Troubleshoots day-to-day process problems, initiates solutions, and follows-up to evaluate effectiveness of changes to ensure an appropriate Maintenance services to support manufacturing. Included in these duties are systems integration, maintenance programs, OEM management, CAPEX projects and other services needed to support the operation. Considers manpower requirements for each maintenance programs and utilizes proper engineering resources to provide service. Provides guidance and support to staff personnel assigned specific portions of project and coordinates project to ensure completion as scheduled. Resolves problems in designing the most economical and efficient systems deciding what or which equipment, spare parts, OEM support should be purchased. Keeps up to date on technical advances in the design field. Acts as a troubleshooter and investigates and determines causes for failure, lack of efficiency and need for repairing or improving equipment. Analyzes problems, discusses with other technical personnel and determines most cost effective method to resolve problem. Assigns work according to expertise and follows projects to ensure satisfactory completion. Implement strategies to optimize Maintenance Plans, OPM (Operator Performance Maintenance) Plans, New M&E acceptance and commissioning, spare parts, and trouble-shooting approaches. Budget Management for Burden and Labor Ensures proper selection, direction, development and motivation of all personnel to maintain an effective and efficient work force capable of meeting objectives. Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, hazardous materials, ergonomics, affirmative action, etc. in performing assigned duties.**Requirements**:- University Engineer degree- English Conversational- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, processes, machines, equipment and systems
