What You'll Do Provide Workday programming expertise as part of a Workday Integrations team which is encouraged to develop, monitor, support and improve about 100 integrations.Understand the end-to-end data flow for assigned integrations (from Workday to 3rd parties and vice-versa), including performing hands-on Workday configuration and code updates as vital so that integrations running across multiple technologies deliver the required business outcomes.Ensure GBT's approximately 30 global payroll integrations, which are primarily based on PECI and PICOF, are developed according to Workday best practices, minimize ongoing maintenance needs, and run efficiently/reliably with the end result of paying all GBT employees accuratelyDevelop, build, test and deploy new integrations demonstrating groundbreaking technologies to facilitate good business outcomes and position GBT to meet future requirementsUnderstand and provide input on integrating Workday into the larger Enterprise Architecture for the organization (SSO, IP whitelisting, toolset changes, PGP Privacy)Understand data governance and securityParticipate in Agile Integration development that focuses on accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation and problem resolutionDesign and develop interfaces and conduct unit and integration testsPerform integration regression testing
What We're Looking For Proved Workday Studio development experience is a mustDemonstrated experience with Workday development tool sets: Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, Studio BIRT Module).Strong technical experience with XSLT, XTT, XML and object-oriented development including Java.Experience with APIs and Web Services standards (WSDL, SOAP, REST)Experience integrating Workday Time & Absence to 3rd party systems is helpful. Previous experience developing PECI integrations preferredA curiosity about extending Workday with tools such as Workday Extend is helpfulAbility to work and coordinate with third parties on integration related inquiries including testing and communicationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical field) or equivalent combination of training and work experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills to efficiently interact with team members and leadershipAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change while maintaining focused calm in the face of challenges Location
