Job Summary:**Location**:Work location is flexible if approved by Avnet, except, role may not be performed remotely from ColoradoPrincipal Responsibilities:- Participates in global HR processes/system administration and/or development projects.-- Manages integration development lifecycle (small project management, including technical build and stakeholder management).- Builds EIBs and other integrations using Workday and Workday Studio.- Consults on upstream processes that impact integration changes.- Manages data pipeline for internal analytics work.- Serves as secondary for other data and people analytics processes.- Provides HR systems expertise and knowledge of GIS/IT initiatives and capabilities in recommending new systems or system improvements to meet internal customer needs.- Responsible for vendor management and third-party integration support.- Keeps apprised on industry trends and new methods in HR information systems, as well as business processes and communication to the HR departments.- Creates custom reporting and analytics.Job Level Specifications:- Technical resource who understands integrations and data movement. Examples: Interfaces, ETL, Web Services.- Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires in-depth evaluation of variables. Determines best approach to achieve results and provide suggestions to improve procedures.- Takes requirements and works through to a solution while iteratively problem solving. Understands the importance of validation, proper syntax, and data structure. Leverages communities and open/closed source resources as aids to finding solutions.- Comfortable working autonomously while solving complexities.Work Experience:- Typically 2-3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.Education and Certification(s):- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.Distinguishing Characteristics:- Technical know-how - working in a technical capacity for at least 2 years.- Eager to learn beyond current area of expertise and passionate for sharing knowledge with others.- Passionate about problem solving.- Ability to think critically and to understand holistic impact to systems.- Hands-on development experience in building integrations in Workday Studio.- Hands-on development experience building integrations with Workday EIBs.- Experience with ETL outside of Workday with responsibility for the data pipeline in a medium-to-large enterprise environment.-- Project management experience is a plus.- Workday Certification is a plus.LI-MG1The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
