As an Omnichannel Expert, you will play a pivotal role in advising our clients on the effective implementation and utilization of Oracle Retail XStore POS and implementing omnichannel strategies. You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, functional and technical expertise, and project leadership to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.
RequirementsMain responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their retail operations and business goals, and translating them into effective POS solutions.
Lead and participate in all phases of project implementation projects, including requirements gathering, workshops, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Provide expert guidance and support for POS configurations, customizations, and integrations to meet specific client needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure project success.
Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to client teams to enable them to effectively use and maintain POS and Omnichannel solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges during implementation and post-implementation support.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to provide proactive recommendations to clients.
Acumen in integrating POS with Loyalty program applications, pricing engines, OMS and order brokering, sales audit applications.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
A minimum of 4 years of experience in Retail implementations and support.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Retail Xstore Suite, including Point of Service (POS), XOffice, XAdmin, etc.
Basic knowledge of databases – SQL.
Experience with retail store operations, store IT support, store rollout and omnichannel strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
Analytical skills to interpret and understand business processes.
Ability to travel to client sites as required.
What will be a plus: Experience with Oracle Omni suite: OROB-Order Broker, ORCE – Oracle Retail Customer Engagement, OMS – Order Management System.
Experience in Web Services (SOAP/REST/JSON).
Experience (academic and/or professional) in Java and J2EE.
Experience with other Oracle Retail applications such as ORMS, ORPM, OReSA, etc.
