We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Risk Management Advisor based out of Monterrey, Mexico.
The Supply Chain Risk Management Advisor role in supply chain management is responsible for our supply chain risk management process from monitoring events I.e., environmental, political, etc) that disrupt our supply chain and trigger actions to mitigate the impact of these events. In addition, will be responsible for what if scenarios and for managing mitigating action plans. Continues improvement and process improvement deployment to the entire organization
**Detailed Description**:
- Defining supply chain risk. A tool will identify a vast quantity of current event supply chain risk risks, criteria will need to be established to identify risks requiring attention and action.
- Establishing a global risk management process for both production spend management and showcasing our capabilities to customers.
- Triggering risk mitigation action when a risk event has been identified.
- Project management
- Drive ongoing enhancements.
- Risk scenario analysis.
- Translating data & information into insight
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**:
- Post-secondary education or University Degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Computer Science or equivalent
- General knowledge of the complete supply chain to be able to tailor solutions to business problems
- Strong analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills to enable ongoing incremental results
- Ability to effectively communicate from the execution level to the management and direction level of the organization.
- Ability to proactively resolve issues & problems internally and externally
- Relentless focus on continuous improvement
- Delivers flawless execution with an effective management system
- Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management
- Ability to effectively project manage, influence and motivate a diverse group of team members, potentially based in multiple countries
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers
- Able to work assertively cross-functionally and with other sites to achieve objectives
- Strong presentation, database management and computer skills (with proficiency in Excel)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to do modeling including potential leveraging machine learning.
