Our 2 ballrooms and 18 meeting rooms can host up to 1,800 delegates for meetings and social events.If you are looking for a hotel in Jakarta for leisure or business, Novotel Jakarta Mangga Dua Square serves as a convenient base to explore the city, being close to the Business Centre and near the Harbour to explore the tropical atmosphere of the Thousand Islands.Strategically located close to shopping areas and remarkable landmarks such as Jakarta Old City and the biggest amusement eco-park, Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, the hotel is surrounded by many tourist attractions.Job DescriptionAnswer incoming phone calls in a pleasant manner using the hotel's telephone etiquette guidelines and handle telephone inquiries according to departmental procedures.Coordinate all group arrangements.Work with group contacts to facilitate program planning and requirements.Communicate group needs and specifications to all relevant departments.Follow up with post-conference reports and review group billings.Input all group bookings and update booking activities in the system on a weekly basis.Prepare reports and maintain proper records and filing systems in accordance with the hotel's sales administration process.Maintain gifts inventory and coordinate the sending of gifts to clients.Arrange site inspections for potential clients.Promote positive relations with clients and attend to all requests expediently and courteously.Acknowledge and handle clients' complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently, reporting incidents or other irregularities to management.Up-sell and promote the hotel's facilities and services at every available opportunity to maximize sales revenue.QualificationsDiploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with proven track records.Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Good communication and customer contact skills.Service-oriented with an eye for detail.Ability to work well in high-pressure situations.A team player and builder.A motivator and self-starter.Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.#J-18808-Ljbffr
