**Job Description**:
This position requires interacting with customers to meet or exceed sales targets by expanding existing business and creating new business opportunities for all products, services, and solutions offered by Rockwell Automation. A strategic sales plan must be implemented and executed with discipline to achieve these goals. The individual in this role must establish and maintain relationships with assigned accounts, such as End Users and System Integrators, Contractors, EPC, etc. while working with distributors to ensure resources are used effectively and efficiently. The aim is to exceed annual sales targets by maximizing business opportunities within the specified Industry focus account.
The individual must develop and implement effective account plans and ecosystem maps for each assigned account. They will also need to coordinate Rockwell Automation resources and distributors to provide solutions, products, and services to customers, particularly related to TCE and MRO. When necessary, they must also coordinate global and in-country sales initiatives and activities as defined by Sales Management. The individual must execute the Rockwell Automation sales process, either alone or with the help of other resources, to generate a healthy funnel and obtain orders. This includes identifying sales and business opportunities, presenting quotes and proposals, negotiating, and closing orders.
Collaboration with all sales teams is necessary to increase market penetration, ensure sales coverage, and provide appropriate order fulfillment. Effective business relationships must be built with assigned accounts by understanding their organization, developing a business relationship with senior management, identifying key decision-makers, and understanding their business strategy and direction. The individual must also coordinate the account plan and target setting for all assigned accounts. New potential accounts should be shared and analyzed with Sales Management. Meeting challenging targets is important, as is the demonstrated ability to sell at the senior management and executive levels, focusing on business outcomes and articulating the tangible economic value that information software solutions and services can deliver.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering/technical related field or equivalent,
- Additional education in business administration or marketing is preferred.
- IOT / IIOT / Annual Recurring Revenue/software/subscription model type of experience, including collaboration with a customer success function.
- English language skills (verbal and written).
- Experience in a technical/sales Job focused on the Automotive, F&B, or HPC industry >5 yrs
