Innovate to solve the world's most important challengesThis role is responsible for developing Electrical design concepts, 2D drafting and coordinating the generation of Electrical drawings for the manufacturing of special test equipment for the new test solutions needed at Hon Test Facilities in the Mexicali Campus. Test equipment includes Electropneumatic and Control systems, Electrical Interfaces to Facility Power sources, and Electrical interfaces with Units Under Test, among other electrical design aspects. Also responsible for engineering substantiation through basic analytical capabilities and coordinating the design review phase gates required to define a test solution through the Hon Aerospace Engineering Process.Job RequirementsDefine Design Concept based on test requirements and available footprint and facility electrical energy sources and interfaces for new Facility Test Systems and/or Facility required modifications to install electrical components and other test assets that involve new test capabilities to be implemented at Hon Mexicali Campus.Develop basic electrical systems. Define one-line diagrams, electrical schematics and electrical detailed drawings with a basic understanding of most common manufacturing processes to develop a design concept for aircraft component test solution.Generate Test solution Computer Aid Design (CAD) models. Have the capability to build basic to complex electric diagrams, drafting and assemblies.
