This dynamic role will include thinking beyond the scope of the contract to enhance the contract delivery strategy through engagement with both client and key stakeholders.- Continued development of airfield operations to underpin the return of the South Atlantic Airbridge and future contracts are key to this role.**Main Duties**- The Airfield Technical Services Manager (ATSM) is responsible for the management of the MTMS, MT, GES, SUPPLY, VAHS & SFF.- The ATSM role and responsibilities are defined in the JD for the position.- As the ATSM Line Manager, the Airfield Operation Manager (AOM) is to work collaboratively with the ATSM to ensure all contracted technical services are being delivered by providing direction, advice and support as required.- The AOM is directly responsible for the management and operation of the Fire Section, Supply Section, Ops & Security and the F&L section. This includes all Line Manager responsibilities.- The primary role is to ensure all aircraft activities, movements and other **associated activities** are completed in accordance with MAA & CAA (as applicable) rules and procedures for such activities. This includes ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner to meet operational targets and deadlines.- Ensure all Airfield Engineering Standards, Practices and Procedures as directed by the Contract, Civil and MoD Regulations and Company Procedures are implemented and maintained. In particular the management and implementation of Aviation Security Policy in liaison with Air Safety Support International.- As AOM, work with the QSHE Team to lead a Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental culture ensuring a robust and meaningful programme of safety awareness delivered consistently across the airfield activities, promoting a zero tolerance to unsafe behaviour. In particular, the implementation of the internal assurance regime, TBT, work place inspections, inductions and other QSHE related activities.
